It was a big lead up to this event, with a big effort from the team to get the well known car together in time. A few new additions to the combination meant that there was only the smallest window of time for testing.

On the morning of the event, we made the drive from VPW Speed Shop to the Calder Park Race Track and after 2 qualifing passes we managed to qualify 3rd with traction problems.

We managed to go through 4 rounds of racing and then we lost in the final with a new personal best of 9.650 @ 141.8mph on street radial tyres and through mufflers. While we had our sights set on 1st, we were so happy with what we had managed to do - and with a bit left to tune and tweak!
