VL Calais with a lazy 536KW at the wheels!

Our congratulations go to Paul Vavitis whose hard work has built up this impressive VL Calais.
The pictures speak for themselves, and the numbers talk too with 536 KW at the wheels, RB30 SOHC.

Well done Paul!

First meet but good signs for Jeremy Callaghan’s Torana

Jeremy made the trip down from NSW to Calder Park to run in the Pro Street field. His PROFAB built Torana runs small block 427 LSX twin 82mm turbos.

First qualifying round,  Jeremy was quickest running 7.70@188mph and by the end of the qualifying Jeremy held no.2 spot with a PB of 7.66@190mph. This was Jeremy’s first race meet with a new AMS1000 boost controller from Pro Line Racing. Jeremy cut his weekend short after going out first round, but we look forward to seeing him around to top runners in his class soon!

Congratulations Jeremy on a great achievement.

Carmen’s “tough truck”

109_0235109_0234

With a blown 509ci big block making 840hp Carmen’s truck is a “head turner” wherever it goes, and he takes it everywhere.

Andre’s XT

heathcote_091018_055bAndre’s XT is a stock block 383ci Cleveland with CHI heads and makes a very stout 650hp.

It runs a 10.39 @ 130mph in street trim on radial tyres and mufflers, with a relatively slow 60 ft time.

Not bad for a daily driver……………

Congratulations Adrian

hp-heaven-calder_park_private_test_and_tune-_la33380Youngest member of the Dandy Engines crew Adrian is now Australia’s fastest “true street” with a 10.0 pass @135 mph recently.

Being only the second time out “Age” is hoping for more out of the “X DUB” yet.
